I’m not sure if everyone knows this, but vaccinations are a VERY hot topic amongst moms. There have been studies that are linking autism with all the vaccinations we are giving our kids these days. Here is Robert Kennedy Jr. explaining it better!
And here is a website that can explain it all in great detail.
Kinda scary huh? The ingredients in vaccinations are really yucky! This is from the CDC website:
Common substances found in vaccines include:
* Aluminum gels or salts of aluminum which are added as adjuvants to help the vaccine stimulate a better response to the vaccine. Adjuvants help promote an earlier, more potent response, and more persistent immune response to the vaccine.
* Antibiotics which are added to some vaccines to prevent the growth of germs (bacteria) during production and storage of the vaccine.
* Egg protein is found in influenza and yellow fever vaccines, which are prepared using chicken eggs. Ordinarily, persons who are able to eat eggs or egg products safely can receive these vaccines.
* Formaldehyde is used to inactivate bacterial products for toxoid vaccines, (these are vaccines that use an inactive bacterial toxin to produce immunity.) It is also used to kill unwanted viruses and bacteria that might contaminate the vaccine during production.
* Monosodium glutamate (MSG) and 2-phenoxy-ethanol which are used as stabilizers in a few vaccines to help the vaccine remain unchanged when the vaccine is exposed to heat, light, acidity, or humidity.
* Thimerosal is a mercury-containing preservative that is added to vials of vaccine that contain more than one dose to prevent contamination and growth of potentially harmful bacteria.
Not to mention- Monkey kidney tissue culture, human diploid tissue, chicken embryo, and hydrochloric acid

Now, I don’t know what I believe. Nayana got all of her immunizations on time, but Jasdeep hasn’t gotten one since he was 4 months old. I am going to vaccinate him, I just decided to wait until his little baby body is bigger. I am thinking I will start again when he is around 18 months old. I know that some people think I should never vaccinate them, but I honestly would rather have an autistic child (if it should end up that way) then a child crippled from Polio.
If anyone has any information or anything they’d like to share, I would love to hear it. This is a very interesting issue and I just hate that I can’t tell who is right. It is scary to think our government would be knowingly poisoning our children, but if there does prove to be a link, that is exactly what they are doing.
Recently 3 different federal judges in autism/vaccination cases ruled that there is no link between the two. However, it is said there will be appeals and the parents that believe there is a link haven’t changed their minds. Not to mention the fact that the government refuses to study unvaccinated children. A private group that did conduct a study found frightening results:
“We surveyed over 9,000 boys in California and Oregon and found that vaccinated boys had a 155% greater chance of having a neurological disorder like ADHD or autism than unvaccinated boys.” – Generation Rescue
I think it is up to each parent to decide what is best for their children. And up to each parent to stat outta everyone else’s business!
Have a great weekend everyone!

First of all, Happy Late Valentine’s Day!! I hope everyone had lots of fun and ate lots of chocolate.
I went to the casino with hubbs and another couple. We all lost but I had two lemon drops and that’s enough to make me not care. Also, he bought me an MP3 or 4 or 27 or something, which was very nice of him….. But, he also said- “You can use it when you clean” ha.ha.ha Nice try buddy!
The house is coming along great. We put in the wood floors and we should be switching in the new carpet soon. All the painting is done and I love (most) of it. And, we finished putting in the new sinks, lights, mirrors, and all that in the bathrooms.
Oh yea, I wanted to tell everyone about the All Posters affiliate thingy that I have up. I don’t recommend it for making money, but I do like it for the pictures. You can use any of their posters and not have to worry about stepping on anyones copyright. I use it for Squidoo more then over here, but it is still kinda cool, so I thought I would share.
Here is an example LOL

I can’t believe I almost forgot… my in laws were over here today, talking about Jasdeep and his first birthday. I said it was up to them if they wanted to throw a big party, like they did for Nayana, or not. I mean, it is there money, of course they should decide. Nayana’s birthday was crazy though- they rented a restaurant, had an open bar, a photographer, decorator, videographer, DJ and dance floor, and enough food to feed all of India. (These are the same people that didn’t come to my wedding, by the way.) SO, anyway, after I said I didn’t care and he wouldn’t remember it, my mother in law says “exactly, I think we should throw Nayana another big party instead.” Whoa… I said I didn’t care if they gave him a huge party, not that she should have another! I don’t want my mother in law to favor Nayana ALL the time SO much. It is starting to get annoying. She only wants to watch Nayana or bring her shopping or out to eat. I get that Nayana is cool and fun and … actually talks, but she could still try and spend a little time with Deepu. He is her only grandson! Or maybe I am just way to sensitive LOL
Hope everyone has a great week!!

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Is Wrong October 27, 2008

UPDATE: I think I found where this came from!! Gator Gay Straight Alliance take credit here.
10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong
1) Being gay is not natural.
And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicone breasts.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.
In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior.
People may even wish to marry their pets, because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Blow-up dolls are next, then pencils.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all.
That’s why women are still property, interracial marriages are forbidden, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed.
And we can’t let the sanctity of Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children.
Therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry. It’s not like our population isn’t out of control and our orphanages aren’t full– the world REALLY needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children.
You know, because straight parents ONLY raise straight children.
Gay marriage is not supported by religion.
And in a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country.
(Did I miss the lesson where Jesus says He hates gays?)
9) Children cannot succeed without a male and female role model at home.
Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.
Just like we haven‘t adapted to cars, longer life spans, or Bush.
OK, I did not write this, but I did change a few things to make it better!! I LOVE whoever did write it though…. they rock!
VOTE NO ON PROP 8!!!!!
