Real quick– I am getting sick and NyQuil makes me feel super out of it, so today’s post might not make ANY sense, just a warning! 
This week I must have been wasting quite a bit of time on YouTube, because I found all sorts of goodies. One of which being a musical called Avenue Q. I am so upset that I don’t live near New York, because I would already have tickets to go see it. The show is kind of an adult (sometimes very adult) version of Sesame Street. I watched/listened to a bunch of the songs, including:

They are all hilarious!! The one I chose for my song this week is called Schadenfreude. The word schadenfreude is German for harm and joy. It means satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else’s misfortune. I think it’s the perfect explanation for my reality TV addiction. I may not be as fierce about it as the puppets in the song, but I do love to watch people making fools of themselves.

This is the best musical of ALL TIME. I have watched it three times, with hopes of validating my crap job and bogus English degree. But not matter how many times I watch it, I can’t help but wish I could go back to college.
